UPDATE Boil Order Lifted for Sixth Street

Please be advised that the 48 hour boil order for Sixth Street from Lafayette Avenue to Tomlinson Avenue has been Lifted as of Wednesday, June 10th, 2020.
The water service had to be shut off to repair a break in the main water line on Monday, June 8th, 2020.
For our customer’s protection, a 48 hour boil order was put in place following the restoration of water service until sample results are received from the lab in Wheeling. This guarantees that our customers are receiving the safest and best quality of water available.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this had caused our customers!

Boil Order Issued for Sixth Street from Lafayette Avenue to Tomlinson Avenue
Please be advised that a 48 hour boil order is in effect for Sixth Street from Lafayette Avenue to Tomlinson Avenue in Moundsville. The water service had to be shut off to repair a water break on Monday, June 8th, 2020. The Moundsville Water Department Maintenance Crew is on site and is repairing the damaged water line.
For our customer’s protection, a 48 hour boil order is in place following the restoration of water service until sample results are received from the lab in Wheeling. Notification will be sent out as soon as the boil order is lifted.
