Boil Order

Please be advised that a 48 hour boil order is in effect for the Moundsville Plaza at 1200-1300 Lafayette Avenue and Geno’s Play Grounds at 610 Twelfth Street in Moundsville.

Water service was shut off on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 to the Moundsville Plaza and the Geno’s Play Grounds beside the Plaza so a contractor could repair a broken main waterline on the Moundsville Plaza property. This affects all of the stores/businesses/restaurants in the Moundsville Plaza strip mall.

The Guest House was not affected by the water service interruption.

For our citizen’s protection, a 48 hour boil order is in place following the restoration of water service until verified sample results are received from the lab in Wheeling. Notification will be sent out as soon as the boil order is lifted.
