Boil Order

Boil Order

Please be advised that water service will be shut off on Thursday, July 30th only for the areas of Fourth Street from Grant Avenue to Washington Avenue and Washington Avenue from Fourth Street to Third Street. A 48 hour boil order will be in place with the restoration of water service.

Water service will be shut off all day on Thursday, July 30th, 2026 for the areas of 4th Street from Grant Avenue to Washington Avenue  and Washington Avenue from 4th Street to 3rd Street. Water service will have to be shut off to these areas so Moundsville Water Board Maintenance Crew can replace a valve and 20 feet of waterline. Water service will be restored to all customers as quickly as possible.

For our customer’s protection, a 48 hour boil order is in place following the restoration of water service until water quality sample results are received from the lab in Wheeling. Notification will be sent out as soon as the boil order is lifted.
