Opioid Settlement Grant Application

As part of the statewide settlement in the Purdue Pharma opioid lawsuit, the City of Moundsville was awarded a total of $216,053.99 in funds to date. These are to be used to address or minimize the impact of opioid addiction in our community.
The City created a committee to plan usage of these funds. The committee created a grant program to distribute some of the funding to entities that plan to meet one of the approved core strategies and approved uses. An application process has been developed, and entities may begin applying immediately. The committee may place limits on the funds distributed, and projects may not receive the full request. Funding decisions are at the sole discretion of the City, and the City reserves the right to deny any request for funds.
