Police Department

Nancy resides in Paden City, WV.   She graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and in 2008 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She has worked as a Child Protective Service Investigator and completed her internship at the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) in Martinsburg, WV as a Forensic Interviewer for CPS and city, county and state police. She also worked as a Correctional Counselor, Correctional Officer at the West Virginia Department of Corrections and a Therapist through PSIMED for the WV Dept of Corrections.

She is now employed by First Choice Services (FCS) as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS), working with the City of Moundsville and the Moundsville Police Department as a community resource for those currently suffering with substance abuse issues, mental health struggles and homelessness. This is a new program and Nancy is here to help, support, and encourage those in need in this community.
